The Scoliosis Association of San Diego is a chapter of the national non-profit organization, which was founded by scoliosis patients and their families in 1974.

The San Diego chapter of the Scoliosis Association was founded in January 2005 by chapter president Jennifer Rushall

. Patients and their families attend chapter meetings to share and discuss common problems and try to assist each other with the physical, emotional and social aspects of scoliosis and related spinal deformities. We often have professional’s speaker at the meetings and respond to questions. Our goals are to learn more about Scoliosis, its effects and treatments; to educate the general public and medical professionals; encourage early detection and knowledge in schools and most importantly support each other.
